Dr. Bernice Lerner, in conversation with Dr. Michael Zank, director of the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies at Boston University, will discuss her new book, “All the Horrors of War: A Jewish Girl, a British Doctor, and the Liberation of Bergen-Belsen.”

Dr. Lerner will explain why and how she wrote this dual biography. She will also describe the unprecedented medical rescue of diseased, war-ravaged inmates at a Nazi concentration camp (the largest in the spring of 1945), and how her then 15-year-old mother was saved from certain death.
