Join us for a performance of the play “Etty” followed by a discussion on social justice.

“Etty” is a touring one-woman play based on the diaries and letters of Etty Hillesum, a young Jewish woman living in Amsterdam during the Holocaust. The play is adapted and performed by Susan Stein and directed by Austin Pendleton. As part of the performance, Stein will lead a discussion on social justice and ask the audience to challenge prejudice everywhere.

For adults and students ages 15 and up. Student tickets are available at no charge by contacting adultprog@jccgb.org.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Newton Cultural Council, a local council that is supported by the Mass Cultural Council and the City of Newton.
