One conversation just wasn’t enough! Join us for a deeper dive into the topic of Jewish head-covering.

Kippah, tichel, headband, scarf, yarmulke, hat, wig, lace doily, something else…let’s talk about head covering (or hair covering; they may look the same, but have different implications). What is covering about? How do the ways we choose to cover (or not) “code” us in terms of gender, religious orientation, Jewish identity, marital status and otherwise? How have our practices changed over time? What practical concerns are related to covering?

Bring experiences, questions and a willingness to learn from others.

Location (Coolidge Corner/Brookline) details will be sent upon registration.
