It is Jewish custom at the end of shiva (the seven days of initial mourning following a burial) to take a walk around the block to mark the end of this spiritual, personal time, before returning to the world.

Across the country, National Council of Jewish Women is marking this symbolic ritual shift with “Circle the Courthouse” events to honor Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy this Friday, Oct. 2. Temple Emunah is hosting one of these events!

Masks and social distancing are required.
