Join Masterworks Chorale at Boston’s historic Old South Church for Ernest Bloch’s beautiful “Sacred Service,” an artistically groundbreaking setting of the Hebrew liturgy for the Sabbath.

To honor the 350th anniversary of Old South Church, we will also present Lukas Foss’s majestic “Behold, I Build a House” and Randall Thompson’s classic “Alleluia,” both written to commemorate important beginnings in our area—the openings of Boston University’s Marsh Chapel and the Tanglewood Music Center.

The concert will feature organist Ross Wood and baritone Ian Pomerantz, a professional singer and scholar of Jewish music.
