Recipe for “The Sukkot Sour” (makes one):

  • 2 ounces liquor (vodka, gin, whiskey or brandy)
  • 3/4 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounces simple syrup or honey syrup (1/4 cup sugar or honey plus 1/4 cup hot water, combined)
  • 2 dashes bitters (optional)
