Join renowned violinist Zoë Aqua for a fun, hands-on klezmer workshop at The Boston Synagogue!
Everyone can participate, regardless of previous experience with klezmer or level of expertise. We’ll be learning by ear, with charts to take home at the end.
Zoë Aqua is a violinist based in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is a co-founder of Tsibele and Farnakht and can be seen playing regularly with Litvakus, Ternovka, The Honorable Mentschn and more. She holds two degrees in music education and has led well-received workshops for all ages at Klezkanada, the New York Klezmer Series, Yiddish New York, Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center and more.
