Join Kerem Shalom for “Fun With Yiddish” via Zoom with Betty Silberman, assisted by Rosalie Gerut.

Join us for fun, interactive and informative classes. You’ll learn vocabulary, phrases, songs and more. No previous knowledge needed.

Silberman, a native Yiddish speaker, has taught Yiddish language and culture at numerous institutions, including Tufts Experimental College, Hebrew College, MIT Hillel, Harvard Hillel, Boston University Hillel and many synagogues in the Boston area, including Kerem Shalom. She has performed Yiddish theater in New York City, Boston and Israel. Since 2008, Silberman has been based in Sarasota, Florida, where she teaches Yiddish at Lifelong Academy and Longboat Key Education Center.

This class runs on Thursdays, June 11, 18, 25 and July 2.
