On tour from Seattle, Shpilkis is coming to The Boston Synagogue for a pre-Shabbat outdoor concert on the lawn (weather-permitting, otherwise inside)!
The 8-piece klezmer brass band (brass, woodwinds and drums) deliver lively and fun performances sure to get you dancing with their tight sound, old-school Yiddish grooves, and West Coast flavor. A fixture in the Yiddish music scene of the Pacific Northwest, Shpilkis brings tuchus-shaking energy wherever they play.
Light supper and refreshments follow.
