Temple Emanuel, Lappin Foundation, and Boston 3G invite the community for a First Look at the short documentary, Munkács Miracle. Born days apart in 1940 and both raised in Munkács, Czechoslovakia, Holocaust survivors Magda Bader and Ruth Cohen were transported to Auschwitz on the same day from the same spot when they were 14 years old. A chance encounter with Deborah Coltin, Lappin Foundation’s Executive Director, brought them together after 81 years. A Q&A and light refreshments will follow the screening.
