Fall Repair the World Service Corps is coming.

Starting Sept. 23, new and tenured corps members will spend 12 weeks serving alongside Boston nonprofit partners while building something bigger together: a shared learning journey rooted in Jewish text and modern leadership thinking.

This fall, we’re pairing Max Klau’s work on servant leadership, developed over a decade at City Year and grounded in the doctoral research he did at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, with Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks’s writing on what actually makes someone a leader, even without a title, a crown, or an army. Moses didn’t have any of those either.

Corps members will be paired with local service partners throughout the fall, and learning sessions from local Jewish servant leaders.

Along the way, we’ll glean fields with Yachad at Waltham Fields Farm for Sukkot, living out the biblical law of leaving the edges of the harvest for those who need it.

Twelve weeks. Six sessions. One flame, discovered at the start and revisited at the end.
