Celebrate Persian Jewish culture and Queen Esther with CJP x Vilna Community Creative Fellows Tutti Druyan, Miriam Anzovin, and Sara Gardner as they share their unique culinary, musical, and contemporary cultural takes on Esther and the rich centuries-old Persian Jewish tradition.

Noosh-e jān (Bon Appetit)!
5-7 p.m., Bertucci Education Studio

You are invited to the Bertucci Education Studio to learn more about the culinary traditions of Jewish Persia and sample the flavors from a lush edible tableaux curated by chef and food historian Sara Gardner.

Kantika Performance
7-7:30 p.m., Calderwood Hall (doors open at 6:15 p.m.)

Kantika is a boundary-crossing musical project that bridges centuries, languages, and traditions. Led by vocalist and songwriter Tutti Druyan, Kantika combines traditional Sephardic melodies in Ladino with original compositions in English and Hebrew—blending ancient heritage with a contemporary voice.

A Conversation on Esther’s Legacy
7:30-8:30 p.m., Calderwood Hall

Our final engagement of the evening will be a lively conversation in Calderwood Hall between digital storyteller Miriam Anzovin and Boston’s Jewish culture maven Laura Mandel as they discuss a more contemporary take on the legacy of Esther.

Free to all as part of the Gardner’s Free Thursday Nights program.
