The Celebrity Series of Boston Neighborhood Arts Community Concerts presents “Heart of the Holidays: A Global Celebration in Song” by the Guy Mendilow Ensemble and Boston City Singers, with narration by Regie Gibson and featuring special guest Courtney Swain. This is an interactive concert featuring family-friendly songs so the entire audience becomes part of the show.

The Guy Mendilow Ensemble is an award-winning sextet comprising world-class musicians representing Argentina, Israel, Palestine, Japan, the USA and the UK. Formed in 2004, the Ensemble has been enthusiastically received in venues ranging from world and traditional music festivals to performing arts centers, progressive Jewish organizations and universities. They have toured and recorded with the likes of Bobby McFerrin, Yo-Yo Ma, the Assad Brothers, Christian McBride and Simon Shaheen.

Now entering its sixth season, Neighborhood Arts brings the joy of live performance to people of all ages and abilities, drawing deeply on partnerships with Boston-area artists and community organizations to activate neighborhoods with a rich and varied array of opportunities. For more information on these concerts, please visit celebrityseries.org/neighborhoodarts/index.htm.

This is a free event for all ages! Light refreshments will be served and attendees get a chance to meet the musicians.
