The Oscar-shortlisted new film “Holding Liat” (Jury Award for Best Documentary, Berlin Film Festival) opens theatrically at The Coolidge. In the weeks unfolding after Israeli American Liat Atzili is kidnapped on Oct. 7, 2023, “Holding Liat” chronicles political and emotional rifts within her family as they struggle to find a way to bring her home.

This special preview screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Brandon Kramer, moderated by Shany Littman.

The film will be playing through March 6.
