Hundreds of dancers take to the stage at the Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston on Sunday March 9th. Our thirty-eighth annual performance, the Festival begins at 3:00pm, showcasing both new and traditional Jewish and Israeli folk music and dance with over twenty performing groups from the Boston area and beyond. Dancing feet and flying horas, fierce debkas, lithe Yemenite steps, and all capped by a huge finale filling the stage and the aisles en masse for the premier Israeli folk dance Festival in the entire country. The Israel Folkdance Festival is delighted to announce that Ellen Schiffer Berkowitz is our 2014 Festival Honoree of the Year! Visit Bostonfestival.org/honoree to learn more about our honoree.
Student rush tickets $5 on the day of the show.
