About Omer Netzer:
For the first time, an Israeli country artist, Omer Netzer, has landed in Nashville and is in the process of making it his home. Besides being the first Israeli country artist, Netzer’s story is a very emotional and fascinating one, because just after making the move from Israel to Nashville with his family, tragedy struck back home in Israel on Oct. 7. The massacre prompted Netzer, a former soldier, to reenlist and defend his country, leaving behind his 4-month-old daughter, Emily, his wife, and his dreams. For four harrowing months, Netzer fought on the front lines, experiencing the unimaginable, all while his heart remained with his young family. Upon the completion of his combat tour, Netzer immediately returned to Nashville to reunite with his family, and together they now have embarked on this musical journey. Netzer is no stranger to the big stage, as he was previously named Israel’s top musical artist and has toured throughout Israel and Europe. He has shared the stage with some big names, including Bon Jovi.
