Please join us for musical, participatory, weekly Shabbat morning services, beginning at 9:45 a.m. During the Torah service, from 11-11:45 a.m., as we read in the Torah about the death of the ancestors Jacob and Joseph, we will learn from CDT members about the work of the Community Hevra Kaddisha (CHK) in preparing our loved ones for burial.
Jewish customs following death are powerful and comforting; this is an opportunity to learn about the rituals themselves, and how to become a volunteer in this community-based group of “holy fellows.” Come learn!
