Here’s the pitch: Lively discussion, ballpark food (and drink!)
We have assembled an all-star panel of experts to discuss this fascinating piece of Jewish-American lore. These knowledgeable baseball people include:
Martin Abramowitz: Co-author of Jewish Major Leaguers in Their Own Words: Oral Histories of 23 Players, and producer of seven sets of baseball cards.
Jeff Aeder: Founder of the (virtual) Jewish Baseball Museum.
Sol Gittelman: Alice and Nathan Gantcher University Professor of Judaic Studies at Tufts University, and author of Reynolds, Raschi, and Lopat: New York’s Big Three and the Great Yankee Dynasty of 1949-1953.
Bob Wechsler: Author of The Jewish Baseball Card Book.
Just as we are beginning the 2018 baseball season, join us to hear and learn from these experts and other fans about this engaging subject.
