Joshua Winer specializes in the creation of visual art that is integrated into an architectural setting. He believes that site-specific art plays a significant role in enriching human experience, as it makes meaningful connections to context and use.

Over the last 20 years, he has created over 100 murals, mosaics and works of public art in cities across the United States. You may recognize his mural work from the iconic side of the S&S Deli or old movie theater murals in Harvard Square. His intricate mosaics grace the walls of JCSC, Epstein Hillel Academy, Temple Beth Elohim and, most recently, Temple Shalom of Newton, where Joshua has deep family roots.
