Join us for a musical, soulful, chant-based journey into the heart of Shabbat Shuva—returning to our highest selves during the Yamim Noraim/Days of Awe. As we follow the arc of the Friday-night prayer service—over the course of about 90 minutes—we’ll create an oasis in time where we can release the week and refresh our spirits.

After the prayer service, we’ll gather for a community vegetarian potluck dinner (see details below), followed by after-meal blessings and singing. Families are welcome—there is a separate play area for kids, and parents are also welcome to have their kids join in the prayer space.

Please bring a veggie dish to share with six to eight people, with a label describing the ingredients. The space is nut-free. If you use cheese, please make sure it uses vegetarian rennet. We’ll provide challah and wine/juice.

There will be a table for hechshered kosher food, so if you’re bringing prepared food, please consider buying kosher products. If you are able, please also bring any necessary serving utensils.

The Kesher Center is ADA accessible, with an elevator and an accessible bathroom. There are also gender-neutral bathrooms in the space.
