Join Congregation Ahavat Olam for “L’dor V’dor – From Generation to Generation: A Legacy in Motion,” an evening celebrating the enduring Jewish heritage of the Merrimack Valley and the community spirit that keeps it alive.

This special Shabbat gathering will honor the legacy of two historic Merrimack Valley congregations — Ansha Sholum of Lawrence and Temple Emanu-El of Haverhill — whose sacred artifacts have found their forever home at Ahavat Olam.

When those synagogues closed, volunteers came together to rescue and restore their Torah scrolls, carvings, and ritual treasures — preserving more than a century of Jewish history and devotion.

Together, we’ll celebrate the past and embrace the future with music performed by Ron and Tutti Druyan, remarks from Rabbi Idan Irelander and community leaders, and the dedication of new Yahrzeit memorial plaques.
