The Shin Bet, Israel’s domestic security agency, leads the Jewish state’s war against terrorism. This award-winning documentary is a personal testimony by its six former directors who have led this war for the past three decades.

J.J. Goldberg is an engaging and provocative commentator on Israel and the inner dynamics of American Jewish life.  An astute journalist, he is currently Editor-at-Large of The Jewish Daily Forward.  A member of the Pulitzer Prize jury, Goldberg’s writing has been repeatedly honored by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the American Jewish Press Association, the Society of Professional Journalists and the New York Press Association.  His articles have appeared in, among others, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Newsday, and Haaretz.

After the screening Goldberg will lead a Question & Answer period and share his perspective of his interviews with the film’s director and three of the former Shin Bet directors viewed in the film.
