Looks Like a Beach Day! Community Service Project

June 8, 2014

Join us for a hands-on learning and service project at Devereux Beach in Marblehead.  We will participate in a beach clean-up while we learn about ocean life, as well as Jewish perspectives on caring for the environment. This program is designed for families with children ages 0-6, but older siblings are also welcome. An ice cream truck will provide us with fun treats for snack time.

Values in Action is a new program co-sponsored by CJP and Cohen Hillel Academy in Marblehead. Inspired by Cohen Hillel’s schoolwide initiative (The Values Project) to explore a different value each month from a Jewish perspective, Values in Action engages parents in discussion, and then gets the whole family involved in hands-on community service activities.

Event Location: Devereux Beach
155 Ocean Avenue, Marblehead, Massachusetts, 01945
