Join us to officially welcome Ariel Basson Freiberg, a CJP Culture Community Impact grantee, and her exemplary work to Monmouth Park at the Brookline Arts Center! This is your opportunity to meet the artist and support public art at a free community event.

Love + Salt” is a public artwork in two parts: an in-person art installation and a virtual platform. The in-person installation of cement paintings is located at the Brookline Arts Center garden, featuring a visual narrative of the artist’s family refugee story from Baghdad.

Inspired from the artist family’s phrases of affection and curses in Judeo Baghdadi Arabic, the website is an inclusive site to collect guests’ favorite phrases of love and insults.

Be a part of the “Love + Salt” public artwork by sharing your favorite terms for love and insult!
