Join us for a lowkey convo where we’ll discuss what’s happening in our country right now and explore some of the ways in which we can educate ourselves, advocate and create change. Moderated by the JTI Peer Leadership Fellows, we’ll be joined by Jacob Fridman to break down the 2020 election and answer your questions about our democratic process.
Jacob Fridman, a senior at Gann Academy, is a Gen Z political junkie and a civics education advocate. He is the founder of @peoplesbignews, a social media-based news outlet geared toward educating his peers about the U.S. government. Jacob is also the co-host of Gen Zers Talk Politics, a podcast for and by Generation Z that is dedicated to promoting passionate and civil political discourse.
This program is part of a series of opportunities for Jewish teens to connect around current events and topics, powered by Jewish Teen Initiative at CJP.
