We invite you to welcome the Shabbat bride with chant and song at a joyfully musical – and mystical – Kabbalat Service with music from Kol Libeinu. With a live band providing spirited accompaniment on keyboard, guitars, drums, viola, and clarinet, we’ll welcome the presence of the Shekhina (Divine Presence) and expansion of neshama (soul-full-ness) that is the essence of Shabbat.  This program is open to the entire community and, of course, there is no charge to join us for the service and Oneg that follows.

In the words of Abraham Joshua Heschel, “chanting lights a flame in the words of prayer.” The music from Kol Libeinu deepens and illuminates the experience of prayer by creating a spiritual energy that facilitates connection and lifts our hearts. As our hearts open and our voices join together, we will celebrate our aliveness – and enlivened our sense of community.
Join us for a catered Shabbat Dinner
