November Kabbalat Shabbat with Pilgrim Fear Brewster Allerton

November 20, 2015 Boston $10.00

Think you know everything about the Pilgrims? Think again! Things were not so puritanically pleasant in the early years of Plymouth Colony. Get in the Thanksgiving spirit with HOH this month as we go beyond the tofurkies and black buckled hats for a deeper look at the real people behind our treasured national holiday with a visit from Pilgrim Fear Brewster Allerton (as played by Plymouth Plantation Historical Interpreter– and real-life HOH community member– Malka Benjamin).

The fun starts, as always, at 6:30pm with light snacks and conversation, followed by our egalitarian, non-denominational Shabbat services and a kosher buffet dinner.

New faces are always welcome at Havurah on the Hill, so bring your friends.

Havurah on the Hill is a non-denominational, egalitarian minyan for Jews in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area.
