Experience a new way to observe Shabbat through an appreciation and a connection to the world around us.
All ages are welcome to join Rabbi Katy of Ma’yan Tikvah while exploring the unspoiled woods, fields and shoreline of the Sudbury River in Wayland’s Greenways Conservation Area. Connect with nature and other members of the group through singing, meditation, prayers and a Torah discussion as we walk through the property.
Afterward we’ll convene in a nearby home to enjoy a vegetarian potluck lunch. You may find a peace and connection with Shabbat you haven’t found at a more traditional service.
We’ll meet at the cul-de-sac at the bottom of the hill.
Please RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If there is snow or ice, bring your Yak Tracks or snowshoes.
Inclement weather may cancel this event or change the location. In the event of cancellation, all who have registered will be notified.+ More... - Less...
