Join Ganei Beantown for a day of gleaning the harvest with Boston Area Gleaners. Boston Area Gleaners distributes high-quality, locally grown produce to food banks, pantries, and meal programs by working closely with farmers and providing volunteer labor to harvest what would otherwise be plowed under.
Gleaning is a biblical idea of collecting surplus crops from farmers’ fields for those in need.
Continue your Sukkot celebrations of the abundance of the harvest by donating produce to those in the community.
Once you purchase a ticket, it is mandatory that each volunteer must register on the BAG website. Please read the information for new volunteers webpage before registering via the volunteer registration webpage. We will be gleaning at a farm in Topsfield, exact location to be sent upon registration.
