Join us for this two-part Purim celebration! From 5-6:30 p.m., it’s a family Purim celebration with crafts, face painting, pizza and a costume contest with prizes.

  • For kindergarteners and younger: Join us for a puppet show with special mystery guests!
  • For first-graders and older: It’s the time of year for us to retell the story of Purim while honoring the age-old tradition of being utterly ridiculous…and witness the clergy as their true and absurd selves. We will also read, and misread, the Megillah.

Then, from 7-9 p.m., our 21+ event: Purim Against Humanity! Join the full Temple Israel clergy for a reading of the whole Megillah, irreverently read through the lens of our annual “Purim Against Humanity” card game. Bring your favorite libation and dessert to enhance the celebration! Bring your friends and leave your dignity at the door.
