Temple Sinai invites you to “Rabbis and Sci-Fi” with Rabbi Josh Breindel.

Rabbi Breindel is the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth El of the Sudbury River Valley. Previously he served for nine years as the rabbi of Temple Anshem Amunim of Pittsfield. He earned a BA in philosophy with a minor in classics and a concentration in legal studies from Brandeis University. After completing his MA in Jewish studies and Jewish education, he was ordained at Hebrew College in 2009. He has particular interest in storytelling, theater and folklore. Known affectionately as the “sci-fi” rabbi, he is passionate about speculative fiction, especially Jewish science fiction and fantasy. You can follow him on Facebook at RabbiJoshB.
