Old friends, new friends, families, stars, marshmallows, candles, singing. It’s everything that brings us closer together in community while sojourning with nature.

Registration is open to non-members and members (there are some campsites left) and it’s very easy (either online or call the temple office, 781-729-1263). The camping trip is one of the ways people and families of all ages have gotten to know each other.

In addition to Shabbat and Havdalah with friends, there is hiking, swimming, eating, singing, crafts, and watching the stars! We will have an Orion telescope to see the stars in a majestic, new way.

The site fee is for the entire weekend; financial assistance is also available upon request. No prior camping experience is required. We’ll also help anyone get equipment if they need that as well.

Please contact Dan Lieber, the trip coordinator, with any questions at camping@shir-tikvah.org.
