Twice a month on Shabbat mornings, Temple Sinai members gather in Rabbi Vogel’s study at Temple Sinai to discuss the ideas presented by the week’s Torah portion. We begin with a light breakfast and a bit of singing, and then study the text in English.

You need not have any prior study of the Torah or Hebrew knowledge, simply an interest in considering the Torah portion as it relates to our contemporary experiences or those of Jews in previous generations before us. All are welcome for this friendly exchange of Jewish ideas! Come just once to try it out. The class takes place the second and fourth Saturday mornings of the month, 9-10:20 a.m. at Temple Sinai. All are welcome.
