Join us for an inspirational Shabbat Tzedek, a Sabbath of Justice, to celebrate the legacy and values of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will REFLECT on the current state of our world and our roles within it. We will RELATE to one another through the power of storytelling and our shared vision of righteous impact. We will discover ways to REFORM our own actions to serve the greater good of Greater Boston.
This year we will be joined virtually by Renée Graham, who will lead a discussion with featured local leaders about the challenges that face our community, and how we can enact meaningful change. Graham is an award-winning opinion columnist and associate editor for The Boston Globe. We will also be joined by featured guests State Sen. Sonia Chang-Diaz, Imam Taymullah Abdur-Rahman and organizer Nadav David.
At 5:15 p.m., students age 3 through seventh grade are invited to join in a special educational program with our religious school staff celebrating our commitment to justice. For more info, please contact Roberta Axeloons at email@example.com. Teens from Temple Israel and The Tent at TI are welcome to join us on Zoom for a special pre-service program. For more info, please contact Fallon Rubin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
