Shavuot is about the revelation at Sinai and the giving of the 10 Commandments. The text of the Torah quickly gives way to the making of the Golden Calf as the Israelites lose hope that Moshe will return from Mount Sinai.
Join us in this session, where we will study and discuss the biblical text and ancient midrashim that explore the Israelites’ experience of fear and anxiety. We will also look at a teaching from Rebbe Nachman of Bratslav about coping with an uncertain world.
