Are you ready to change the world? RAC’s L’Taken Seminar in Washington, D.C., is designed to both expose you to a variety of public policy issues and explore the Jewish values that inform advocacy around them.

During the weekend, you will gain the knowledge and tools to write an effective, persuasive and passionate speech on a topic of your choice to present when you visit the offices of our Massachusetts senators and representatives on the final day of the program. Hill visits with Congress are a unique experience and can have a significant impact on the course of legislation. After meeting with our students, members of Congress have chosen to co-sponsor, offer amendments to and vote for pieces of legislation that participants discussed.

This trip isn’t all work, though! There’s plenty of time to play as we visit the Smithsonian, tour the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and sample the vibrancy of Georgetown and other D.C. neighborhoods. For more information, please visit the JTI website.
