Sisters Jodi Stern Blankstein, cantorial soloist, and Dr. Lori Stern Siegel, environmental engineer, are teaming up for what promises to be a very special Shabbat experience with an environmental theme.

You won’t want to miss this incredible night of song and simulation. In honor of Tu B’Shvat (the birthday of the trees), Lori will be conducting hands-on exercises while teaching what she and her Climate Interactive partners are doing to help save the planet.

Together, Rabbi Lisa Eiduson, cantorial soloist Jodi Blankstein, guitarist Adam Dehner, percussionist Mitch Gordon and Anne Kails will be weaving in song and prayer highlighting the preservation of the earth.

As this is falling on a CBT Kick Back and Relax Shabbat, they will be blending, into the liturgy, pieces by composers such as Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul and Mary and more. Come in jeans and comfy shoes. Come to sing. Come learn more about what we can do to sustain the planet.
