Discover all of the awesome. Join LEADS, a comfortable, social, nine-session introduction to all the amazing things the Greater Boston Jewish community has to offer. Here’s what past participants had to say:
“I’ve found such a strong sense of friendship and warmth within the Boston Jewish community, due largely in part to my participation in LEADS.”
“I owe so much to LEADS… it has completely enriched my life.”
“LEADS is an excellent springboard for getting involved in the Jewish community in Boston.”
“LEADS is very much a gateway to the CJP community. At almost any Jewish event around the city, I run into familiar faces and I’ve made some really close friends.”
So, what are you waiting for? Join other young adults in their 20s, engage in small group discussions at a volunteer’s home, and cap off some sessions by meeting up with other LEADS groups!
Discussion topics include:
- Jewish culture and identity
- Connections to Israel and Haifa
- Getting involved as a young adult in Boston
- Tikkun olam (repairing the world)
- “Ask a Rabbi” session
You’ll also participate in three potluck Shabbat dinners with your group!
Locations may include downtown Boston, Brookline, Cambridge/Somerville, and Allston/Brighton.
Space is limited. Event fees reflect the cost of goods and services provided and are not tax deductible.
This program is designed for young professionals. We offer separate groups for those in their 20s, those in their 30s, and those who have previously participated in LEADS.
