Do you have an ancestor or mentor who inspires you? Where did your family come from? If there was a time when you weren’t sure which way to turn, what or who helped you? What roots you in a sense of community or purpose? With simple storytelling eliciting techniques, master storyteller Cindy Rivka Marshall will help you identify and refine a story idea.
Learn storytelling skills and get individualized supportive coaching to craft and share an oral story with friends and family or share your story at the Temple Shalom Story Slam on May 19. Guidance for creating story videos is also available. Please register for the workshops. The workshops are standalone.
Cindy has performed stories and presented workshops since 1989 throughout New England, nationally and in England, at festivals, conferences, schools, libraries, synagogues, churches and community groups. She studied acting, movement improvisation and storytelling with Julie Portman, Daena Giardella, Marsha Hiller, Elisa Pearmain, Peninnah Schram and others.
