Join us as we welcome the new month of Tammuz with an evening of connection, reflection, and renewal.

Tammuz is one of the most spiritually and emotionally complex months of the Jewish year—a time that invites us to explore what we reach for when the Divine feels distant, and how we find meaning, resilience, and sacred connection through life’s challenges. Together, we’ll explore Jewish teachings, history, Kabbalah, and the unique energy of Tammuz through a women’s lens.

The evening will include learning, discussion, candle-lighting, intention-setting, a creative talisman practice, and a contemplative card drawing inspired by the tradition of cheshbon hanefesh (soul reflection). We’ll also take a fascinating look at Jewish mystical traditions and practices sometimes described as “Jewish magic.”

No prior knowledge is required. All Jewish women are welcome, wherever you are on your Jewish journey.

Enjoy light refreshments, soulful singing, and meaningful conversation as we honor the renewal of the new moon together.

Rosh Chodesh Circle is a Hadar-recognized Lay Leader program.
