Start your Torah-reading journey with a three-session Zoom series! Ta’amei hamikra or trope or layning or Torah cantillation: whatever you call it, this class will teach you how to turn the symbols into the traditional tune used to chant the Torah in public. This class will be offered online over three nights; commitment to attend all is recommended.
Prerequisites: Reading printed Hebrew out loud (comprehension helps but not required), curiosity and a desire to sing things over and over!
This class is taught and sponsored by members of Washington Square Minyan of Brookline and supported by an AREV grant from the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts.+ More... - Less...
