Join long-time certified fitness instructor Jane Golder for a strength workout that will ready you for everyday life. A focus on functional movements will help you keep up with all those activities you need and love to do.

Building strength also has many other benefits, including increased bone density, improving balance (helping to prevent falls) and upping that calorie burn. During these stressful and uncertain times, workouts can also help to relieve tension and anxiety. This workout is appropriate for all levels.

Equipment needed: Two to three books that can be added or subtracted to increase or decrease load, one hand or dish towel, chair (preferably armless, no wheels or swivel), water bottle and a clear space.
