A night of fun for all community members featuring trivia, raffles, silent auction and more, for a cause.
The Social Action Committee at Temple Beth Shalom, along with other area houses of worship, are announcing a FUNraiser for RIM. Inc. (Refugee Immigration Ministry) to assist those who fled persecution in other countries and now live among us. At this time, asylum seekers and children need food, shelter and clothing while waiting until they can apply for work. For 30 years, RIM has assisted those needing this new jump-start in life. Funds raised will go directly to families seeking to rebuild their lives. Not one penny will go to administrative salaries or costs.
Let’s be the community roots that help allow oppressed families to live safely and grow new branches to enrich our neighborhoods!
