Enjoy delicious snacks as we engage in a study of the New Year of the Trees in the format of a specially designed seder service. The focus will be on the mystical and environmental understandings we can glean from the TuBishvat holiday.  Facilitated by Rachel Atwood who has a BA in Religion and Political Science and was past Hillel President of New College of Florida.  She has a strong interest in environmental awareness, Jewish values and creative Jewish programming to build community. Her senior thesis focused on change in women’s leadership roles in Modern Orthodox communities in Israel. She is a committee member of the Gan Shalom Project and currently an America Corp Fellow with Hands On Tech, a local nonprofit.
