Join us as we explore Jewish perspectives on universal values that we teach our children. At this first meeting, we’ll discuss how the language we use affects how children observe and react to their world. Drawing inspiration from Jewish texts, this session will spark conversation among parents of young children (ages 0-6) about how values from a Jewish perspective can guide our parenting. Open to all, regardless of familiarity with Jewish texts. Facilitated by Elisha Getcher of Hebrew College.

Values in Action is a new program co-sponsored by CJP and Cohen Hillel Academy in Marblehead. Inspired by Cohen Hillel’s schoolwide initiative (The Values Project) to explore a different value each month from a Jewish perspective, Values in Action engages parents in discussion, and then gets the whole family involved in hands-on community service activities.
