Join us on Yom HaShoah, as we explore how women are carrying forward the stories and lessons of the Holocaust. Our conversation will include:

  • Sarah Silberstein Swartz, author of “Heroines, Rescuers, Rabbis,Spies” and book editor specializing in women’s studies and Holocaust history.
  • Edith Morgan, a Massachusetts resident whose family escaped from Nazi Germany thanks to her mother’s heroism.
  • Dr. Kate DeConinck, Director of the Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Keene State will share her work and bring us into the field of Holocaust education.
  • Arielle Mogolesko, a high school student engaged in advocating for Holocaust education.
  • Debora Steinerman, President and Co-Founder of the Vermont Holocaust Memorial, and advocate for Holocaust legislation in Vermont.
