Congregation Beth Elohim invites the congregation and community as we celebrate our first Shabbat under the spiritual leadership of our new Rabbi, Michael Rothbaum.
Rabbi Rothbaum received his ordination from the Academy of Jewish Religion in New York, and comes to us from Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice, where he was Co-Chair of the Bay Area Regional Council. Join us for a celebratory wine and cheese reception at 6:45 pm. Shabbat service will start at 7:30 pm, followed by an oneg. A diverse and inclusive community, Congregation Beth Elohim welcomes Jews of all ages and religious observance.
