“Wine gladdens the human heart,” as proclaimed in the Psalms. Wine plays an important role in the Jewish practice and has been a key crop in the land of Israel since antiquity. We will partake of this joy in a lively evening of tasting and learning.

Join us starting at 6 p.m. for a three-course meal with four cups of wine with David Bernat, Ph.D. We will drink four different world-class Israeli wines with accompanying foods. The presentation and conversation will focus on wine appreciation, wine and food pairing, wine in Jewish tradition and, most important, the history of Israel through the lens of wine culture.
