Ma’yan Tikvah – A Wellspring of Hope is hosting a winter open house for its Y’ladim BaTeva outdoor Jewish learning program, and all are welcome to attend.
Join us to learn more about this innovative, outdoor Jewish learning program as Rabbi Katy Allen leads a sample educational walk at Upper Mill Brook Conservation Area. Afterward, we’ll reconvene indoors for hot chocolate and light refreshments as we share more about the school and answer questions. We’ll close the day with a Havdalah ceremony.
Rabbi Allen is accepting new students for 2019, and you may register your child(ren) for the program at the open house or simply attend to learn more. Interfaith families are warmly welcome.
Y’ladim BaTeva, run by Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah, is an elementary-aged, Jewish learning program developed around a significant outdoor component. - Students and their families become part of a small informal Jewish community
- Jewish values are explored in a welcoming and nurturing environment
- Connections to Judaism are experienced through innovative and non-traditional, outdoor activities
