CBE will hold its annual observance of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with a service and candle-lighting ceremony led by Rabbi Michael Rothbaum and Cantor Sarra Spierer.

The featured speaker will be Sylvia Gutmann, a Holocaust survivor, whose recently published heartbreaking and ultimately inspiring memoir, “A Life Rebuilt: The Remarkable Transformation of a War Orphan,” chronicles an odyssey that spans 60 years, three countries and thousands of miles.

The event is free and open to the public.  Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing ($20 cash or checks only).
